What People Are Saying.

Feels Like Home

“Definitely one of the best places I have stayed in Australia! The staff are fantastic, they make the whole place feel friendly, which makes it a whole lot easier to meet people. They have a free pool table, PlayStation, computers with internet, plenty of drinking games, and wine on donation. I can't recommend this place more. Fantastic!”

Cocktail night is a blast awwwwh yeah it is! I will 100% be back in summer.”

Amazing

“This is the best hostel I've stayed in since arriving in Australia!! Really good atmosphere, very small hostel. Clean, friendly staff. Free transfers to and from bus stop. Cheap surf lessons. Washing machine facilities. The kola hospital is worth a visit. Very lively hostel, not for the quieter backpacker. Would go back again and recommend this hostel. Wish all hostels were like this one.”

Great Place So Homely And Comfortable

“Best backpackers I've stayed at. As soon as you walk in it's so homely and everyone is great and friendly. Met some great people there. Staff go out their way to chat and play games with everyone staying. Free wifi is great. There is never a dull moment to be had! You could defo stay here for a long time it just feels like home. We will be stopping here again on our drive back South! Thanx for a great stay guys!”

Family Home

“A fantastic hostel from the moment you walk in. The hostel is small and cosy so it's very easy to make friends straight away and the atmosphere is always buzzing. The staff are amazing, will do anything to help others and share their traveling experience with backpackers. Morning surfing is super cheap and super fun and is a must if you stay here! Music is always playing in the background and there's tonnes to do like hostel cookouts, bowling, cocktail nights, drinking games, pool and so much more! The only downside of this place is having to say goodbye.”

— Lars

Cozy Hostel

“This is a really cozy spot in beautiful Port Macquarie. The owner and his staff gave us a warming welcome and were really good at including all the people at the hostel to interact with each other. For only 10 bucks, they take you out surfing and try to teach you the basics of the sport. The wifi is good and free, there are various types of video games to play and the place has a clean feel to it. Would be great if they got AC in the rooms as it tends to get quite warm at night.”

— Sara

Great Hostel

”We stayed here for just 2 nights a few days back and really enjoyed our stay. We would have stayed longer but the rest of our east Coast trip is booked and we're short on time. The staff are lovely and there's a real homely feel to the place. They'll pick you up from the bus station and dropped us off as well. Everything is very clean. There's free wifi, they go surfing in the mornings and we also did a sunset boat trip which was cheap as chips $16 Port Macquarie is a lovely place and of we ever go back, we'd definitely stay here :)”

— Anders

Fantastic Hostel, Gunna Miss It

“Originally booked in for 3 nights but ended up staying for like 2 weeks cause I liked it so much. By far the best hostel I've stayed at in Australia. The staff are amazing, the atmosphere is perfect for backpackers, it's kept nice and clean, and the location is great. You can't really go wrong with beachside backpackers so if you are looking for a place to stay in port Macquarie I highly highly recommend this hostel. Hoping to make it back someday!”
